The Northern Colorado Independent Practice Association has become the Colorado IPA (CIPA) and represents 300 health care providers in Northern Colorado and the front range and Denver. Members have access to 20 insurance contracts representing 39 insurance products. Providers have the option of participating in some or all of these contracts.

All of the insurance companies contracted with NCIPA have delegated NCIPA for credentialing. Accordingly, NCIPA adheres to all NCQA and URAC credentialing standards. This eliminates the need for providers to fill out credentialing paperwork for each insurance company individually.

NCIPA facilitates communication between insurance companies and providers through its provider relations staff and by providing forums for insurance companies to present updates and answer questions directly from providers’ offices in a face-to-face setting.

Members of NCIPA have access to educational seminars and updates on our medical community, and the opportunity for office staff and physicians to network and collaborate in forging our future.

NCIPA offers multiple group purchasing programs and discounted services. NCIPA offers health insurance and a long-term disability policy to our members.

Northern Colorado IPA welcomes physicians and ancillary health care providers (Physical Therapists, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Nurse Practitioners to join the NCIPA.
